We always welcome our clients to visit us here at Spur Strap in Northwest Oregon! Delivery to surrounding cities and states as our schedule allows is also a option for you. Sometimes, logistically it makes more sense to ship a puppy via a temperature controlled airline in the safety of a hard-sided crate. We crate train all of our miniature American or Australian puppies early for this very reason as we never know where puppies will end up. We try hard to use airlines that give us direct flights whenever possible.
If you would prefer to purchase an airline ticket and fly into us, you can always fly with your puppy in cabin. For those puppies, we will get them used to a travel bag for you to make your flight as non eventful as possible. Don't worry! We will guide you through everything you need to know for a safe experience.
If you can't come to us, the last option would be for us to deliver the puppy to you! Yes! This is a great option for many. Typically, about 9 weeks we can bring puppy to you. Your cost would be that of an airline ticket, hotel room if needed for your breeder as well as all travel costs for puppy.

If you are interested in a Spur Strap miniature Australian puppy, please take the time to complete the Buyer Information Form. This form does not obligate you to purchase a puppy. It is a tool we use to help gather information about what kind of puppy you are looking for. We want to make sure that we place an Aussie puppy in your home that is suitable to your needs and lifestyle. The deposit goes towards the purchase price of the puppy. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the puppy is 8 weeks old. The deposit is refundable and good for 18 months.. It is recommended if you have color/gender preferences to get a reservation in early!
Breeding Principles
All breeding dogs have completed testing for OFA, CERF, HC, PRA/prcd, MDR1, HSF4, DM, and NAD as well as a full breed panel.. Many of our dogs have also completed and passed a herding instinct test. Companion puppies are sold on a spay/neuter agreement. A reservation of $500 will hold your place on our waiting list. Your reservation is good for 18 months. Contact us to submit a reservation.
